After sleeping for four months on a reclining chair because of my condition, it really feels like heaven, (not that I have been their yet) I am sleeping six hours a night now something I haven't done for years and I did have a very good bed. Thanks to O&A I can now relax in comfort. I recently purchased a Robust Lift Chair. It's amazing. I have a muscular disorder which causes the muscles in my legs and arms to waste away to nothing which has made climbing in and out of the old lounge near impossible. But now with the push of a button I can get in and out of my chair with ease. I also had abdominal surgery 2 weeks ago and without my Robust I don't know what I would have done. The massaging unit in the chair is fantastic. My muscles just love the going over they now receive daily and my little dog also enjoys it. Hi O&A, we purchased a beach wheelchair from you and just thought you might like to know how it's going. Great, it goes on the sand and through mud, the best part is if I fold down the seat and take off the arm rests it easily fits into the back of my commodore station wagon using fold up aluminium ramps. When the weather warms up a little we are going to go fishing, as we live close to the beach and haven't been able to get near the water until now because of the beach wheelchair, I have included a couple of photos on the beach and will send some more loading it into the car when I get a minute. I have recently purchased one of your Robust Lift Chairs and have been extremely happy with its ease of operation and it has made life so much easier for me. I am 76 and am the full time carer of my wife of 54 years. Hi O&A. This is me out and about with my Mobie. What a little ripper it is. We live upstairs in an apartment and it's no great problem getting it downstairs or up. I like the way it folds up and it can be stacked anywhere. When the bed arrived, I had a friend help me set it up and we found it quite easy to put together as most of the work had already been done. It is being used by my 91 year-old mother who loves the height which makes it easier for her to get in and out without help from me (she has Parkinson’s and arthritis in the hip joints). It’s great to have the option of being able to raise the whole bed. I found that a bonus when making the bed and it will be very useful if my mother needs bed care. As she suffers from stomach problems, she finds she needs to sit up to sleep so this bed is ideal. She also frequently has swollen ankles and that makes the option to raise the foot end a real bonus. Scooters were delivered at 1.30 Monday a fantastic effort of next business day to Mum and Dads home in Melbourne. My brother and I had them unpacked, charged and commissioned by 4.00PM. Mum and Dad are very impressed with the product and have proudly shown them to other residents of the village. Simple matter of making sure the battery pack was placed properly. Magda is now able to get around town much more independently, without relying on me for motive power and for which I am grateful. The chairs’ great manoeuvrability means that she can negotiate the supermarket aisles with ease, avoiding all the trolleys and prams etc. and is able to make most of her own shopping choices. Ian loved it. It was the first time he has asked for his lambswool slippers to be taken off in 3 years. He has perked up so much with being given the freedom the chair has given him. We changed the wheels for the wedding and this worked great. Bit of confusion to start with on how to get the wheel off but once the first one was off the others were easy. Mum took him back to the nursing home after they had a few drinks and she had it on profile 5 instead of 1 and drove the chair through the pane glass window at the nursing home, all were good just a bit shaken. I was after a Mobility Scooter on the Sunshine coast, when I came across Out and About Healthcare at Deception Bay, previously selling Mobility scooters in Caboolture. My Puzzle Electric Portable Wheelchair means no more being pushed around shops, street markets, and airports by my parents or friends and, whoever I am out with can now walk at the side of me and we can talk and laugh together side by side. Mum throws the Puzzle Portable Electric Wheelchair in the boot along with my nieces stroller and off we go. The Aviator is by far the best and surprisingly about the same price as the others. It handles the roadwork – which as I live in the bush- is the larger part of my travelling.
