Ever wondered what happens on the other side of the phone when you call Out and About Healthcare? There’s a lot more than meets the eye. Here’s an insight into all the hard work that goes into bringing the mobility product of your dreams to you!

In the morning, our hardworking admin team checks the voicemails we have received from our customers, and informs the appropriate department to call you back as soon as possible to help you out with whatever you need. Whether you’re looking for your dream scooter, need advice on which adjustable bed to get or need to book a service - our friendly team is always working hard to get back to you as soon as possible and have a chat!

Our Product Enquiry Team are dedicated to our customers. They will move mountains to help you find your perfect match in a mobility scooter, electric wheelchair, adjustable bed, lift recline chair or travel-friendly portable! The team will organise a demo so you can test out the products and find the ideal mobility product for you. But don’t just take our word for it,  you can read the reviews from our abundance of satisfied customers here!

Customers come into our showroom as well to see products for themselves. Everyone is welcome to have a look at our mobility products and will be greeted by a friendly face from our sales team, we'll even provide you with a tea or coffee that you can browse with. We recommend giving us a quick call if you're planning on dropping by so we can make sure we can spend as much time with you as possible! When you arrive, you can check out the popular Brio 3 Deluxe in action as we’ve just recently received a new shipment from Heartway.

Once you’ve met the scooter of your dreams, taken it for a test drive, and checked that it suits your needs - you can complete your purchase!


You can purchase your mobility product by calling our friendly team on 1300 366 545. Don't forget to ask about potential Government funding options! They can recommend the best option and help you with the whole application process. We’ll do all the heavy lifting to make empowering your mobility easy as pie!

Speaking of heavy lifting, once your purchase is confirmed, our warehouse team works hard to make sure your product meets all the safety checks. They take time to carefully pack, prep and deliver your product to ensure you’re getting the highest quality service. Our team will also set up your mobility product for you on delivery and show you the ins and outs of your brand new machine.

It's then time to take your flashy ride home with you, or have our handy warehouse team deliver it to your door. Be the envy of all your neighbours driving around in your brand new Mirage K, Aviator S8X or Vita S!

Our admin team will put together a helpful customer pack that will provide you with documents specific to your purchase. These documents include manuals, invoices and battery care guides. Make sure you check the customer pack when you receive your product. It contains vital information and paperwork that will show you the ins and outs of your product, also help you sort out servicing plans and registration if applicable.

We recommend getting your scooter or wheelchair serviced every six months and calling us if you ever have an issue outside of that time. Our team can book you in for a service at a time that suits you. Our technical department thoroughly assesses and repairs your machine so that you can get back out on your scooter or wheelchair and continue your mobility adventure!
